Why Should I Go? These stores not only comprise a great shopping experience, but every time you make a purchase at either one, you are contributing to the ongoing restoration of the three historic sites operated by this multi-faceted non-profit organization: the magnificent 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, the Cape May Lighthouse, and the World War II Lookout Tower.
The Emlen Physick Estate is home to the Carriage House Gallery Shop, an emporium of delightful collectibles. You’ll find a large assortment of books, an array of jewelry, clothing, and a treasure trove of tea-related items, plus a variety of Harney’s tea and the mixes to make your own scones to serve with it.
Insider Tip: The Cape May Lighthouse Museum Shop is housed in the lighthouse’s original oil house. There you will find a large collection of lighthouse models, including collectibles in a range of sizes, plus nature and maritime-inspired items.
