Why Should I Go? After years of collecting sea glass on Cape May’s beautiful beaches, local artist Scott Manns decided to create Seaside Glassworks in order to display his findings for others to enjoy. He began incorporating his found treasures into his stained glass art, and is always trying to expand his creative abilities. Seaside Glassworks now includes stunning selections of fused and blown glass art creations by Scott.
From his beautiful pendants enhanced with charming sea creatures to horseshoe crab sun-catchers to his incredible coral bowls, each piece takes over 24 hours to create and each is a one of a kind.
What started out as a passion for finding sea glass on Cape May beaches has now turned into a love of all things glass for Scott Manns — lucky for us!
Anything Else I Need To Know? Look for Scott and a selection of his Seaside Glassworks pieces at all the local festivals. From Strawberry to Lima Bean to Oktoberfest, the stunning colors and sparkling glass will be easy to spot. Pick up a Cape May treasure — either for yourself or for your favorite Cape May lover.
These stunning, one-of-a-kind bowls will add a sophisticated splash of color to any table or shelf in your home.
Check out Seaside’s conversation-starting seaglass jewelry pieces. One of a kind, like all of Scott’s work, and some embellished with little sea creatures, the colors that seaglass provides are like none other.
These gorgeous creations are inspired by nature, featuring local sea creatures such as horseshoe crabs and jellyfish — but in a much more appealing way! If you’re going to have a jellyfish or horseshoe crab hanging in your window or on your wall, make it one for Seaside Glassworks.
