Inside, each of the Blue Pig’s dining areas provide a different mood. One has an airy garden feel with a large skylight. The second room feels more like a classic tavern, with vintage-style mirrors. Here, large banquettes lend a warm, cozy feel. You can also eat in a wooden rocking chair on Congress Hall’s beautiful veranda. On crisp or chilly evenings in spring, fall or winter, the magnificent fireplace in the Blue Pig Tavern comes alive.
Wherever you eat, you will feast on the restaurant’s signature American tavern fare, while enjoying the simple pleasure of a meal prepared from scratch. The menu utilizes local seafood as well as fruits and veggies (and eggs!) from Cape May’s Beach Plum Farm, located less than two miles away. The farm, which provides nearly ninety percent of the restaurant’s produce, now houses a greenhouse, so you can enjoy your favorite vegetables, even out of season. The Blue Pig serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and is serviced by Congress Hall’s bar, The Brown Room.
