Why Should I Go? Bill isn’t your uncle (or, at least, chances are pretty good that he’s not). But guests are consistently treated like family when they dine here. And they’re consistently treated to a delicious meal. In fact, the most consistent thing about Uncle Bill’s… is its consistency.
To start, all the restaurants are clean. Owner Nancy O’Hara says they’re so “spotless” she wishes health inspectors would “give grades.”
Ever walk by a restaurant and get instantly hungry? Perhaps you were just sightseeing, but then those smells hit you, your appetite was sparked, and the tummy started rumbling. This is what happens when you pass by Uncle Bill’s.
The lovely aromas drift about 30 feet around the restaurant (we’ve made exhaustive scientific measurements over a series of days) and you’ll see people streaming into the place from all angles for breakfast, brunch and lunch. And once inside, you’ll find out that the hearty breakfasts don’t disappoint. And the fact that many of the booths in this circular building have views of the Atlantic Ocean doesn’t hurt.
Insider Tip: Uncle Bill’s Pancake House has six other locations throughout South Jersey. And as for that circular building that houses the Cape May restaurant, it was built by Uncle Bill’s neighbor, Congress Hall, in the 1950s to house a cocktail bar.
Is there anything better than this sweet-and-savory combination?
Okay, maybe THIS is as good as the above!
Hawaiian Ham Steak
A thick slice of smoke-cured ham, garnished with a generous slice of grilled pineapple, with three potato pancakes. As filling as it sounds!
Topped with peaches and crowned with whipped cream. Super tasty!
Creamed Chipped Beef
Served on a waffle or toast and heaped with tender, creamy good stuff.
Turkey Club Sandwich
In case you DON’T want to eat regular breakfast fare, there are other items to choose from.
You can never go wrong.
The perfect way to end your meal.
